Welcome To AutoTrader Software
Welcome to the new AutoTrader Software website. AutoTrader is one of the first  TWS front end programs to become available since Interactive Brokers released the TWS API. Since the first release of AutoTrader back in July 2002, it has gone through numerous improvements and innovations. To show continued commitment to supporting the program, I have updated the program and created this new website to keep up with the changing TWS API and user requirements. One of the main features of this site is the addition of a Discussion Forum. I encourage everyone to post their questions and find answers in the discussion forum.

This website is still a work in progress so please bear with me while I continue to add more contents to the website. If you have any suggestions, please post it in the discussion forum.

Thank you for your continued support.
What's New

Version 1.25.230 Released

December 13, 2009
Minor update. Added 2010 - 2015 contract expiration years.

Version 1.25.224 Released

July 17, 2008
This version fixes the breakeven stop button bug. A new Reverse on Target feature has been added. You now have the option to automatically reverse a position when your target order is filled. This works similar to the Reverse if   Stopped feature. To activate the reverse feature, go to Position Exit tab for the contract you want the trade to reverse, then check either or both Rev on Target and/or Rev if Stopped checkboxes. If you want the reverse to occur only for one time, then do not click the Save button. If you want the reverse to occur continuously until you uncheck, then click the Save button. Please email me if you have questions on using this feature.

For registered users that want to remain using this version in the future when a new version is released, I have added the option to turn off version checking so you do not get prompted to download the latest version every time you start the program.

As usual, all non registered users must upgrade and use this latest version. Registered users may continue to use older version if they wish. For registered users with expired registratoins, you can email me to request extension of your registration or you can make a new donation in order to use this version in registered mode. Registration allows you to use all version released within one year from day you registered forever without expiration. Thank you for your support.

Version 1.25.214 Released

April 21, 2008
This is a bug fix release. The following bugs are now fixed. NQ ticksize now defaults to 0.25. The contracts list in Preferences dialog is now sorted correctly. Reverse if Stopped will now reverse a position if the stop is triggered only and not when the target is reached. Trailing stop orders on contracts using price magnifier now works properly. Total profit contracts using price magnifier is now calculated correctly.  I will start working on enhancement requests next.

All unregistered users must use this latest version. All currently registered users should also use this version. For "expired" registered users, you will not be able to use the latest version in registered mode. Your registration renewal is appreciated. You may send me an email request to extend your expired registration. Make sure you use the email you used in the expired registration. Thanks for your support.

Version 1.25.204 Released

March 2, 2008
This release fixes compatibility problems with TWS 882. It also fixes problems with registration with MacOS X version. If you are using TWS 882 or later, you must use this version.

December 24, 2007
Wishing everyone a happy holiday and hope you all had a good year. I will be unavailable from December 25 to January 4 and will have limited access to email. I will respond to emails when I return on January 5.  Thank you for your support.

Version 1.25.201 Released

September 26, 2007
This is a minor update to fix the http interface use of cxl after value specified in AT Position Entry section  for  non passthru orders. The http interface now also works on Windows Vista, which uses  IPv6  for local network connections.

Registration Information

Registered users are able to use all version released up to one year from date of registration forever. If you registered over a year ago, please email me if you want to use the latest version in registered mode. New registrations and re-registrations are always welcome. Thanks for your support.
